Estepona is a beautiful Spanish town, with nice squares and narrow streets and during the Summer months the streets are alive with local Spanish families.

Estepona Port

The port area is very pleasant with a lovely Sunday market and nice bars, restaurants and boats.

It has a tree-lined esplanade stretching from one end of the town to the other, with a picturesque old town. Both town and port area have restaurants to suit all tastes.

Casares (20 min drive)

A beautiful, world heritage centre village hanging on the side of the mountain - spectacular!

Ronda (1 hour)

Large historic town deep in the mountains.

Selwo National Park (30 mins drive)
Exciting wildlife park with wild animals from all continents living in semi-wild conditions.


Daytrips to Morocco are available from the International port of Algeciras which is 50 km from Estepona.

Gibraltar (40 mins drive)
If you decide to travel to Gibraltar, leave your car on the Spanish side and walk across to avoid long delays at customs. A dolphin viewing boat trip and a trip to the rock are good fun.

Benahavis (30 mins)

Small village in the hills with good value restaurants and nice craft shops.


There are numerous golf courses catering just for holiday makers.
